Be Inspired #103 World Card Making Day

My inspiration for this Thank You card is that I wanted to make a card for someone whom I have yet to meet! My good friend, Betty, and I are going to go on a trip to Salt Lake City for a Cricut Swarm, and we will be staying with her friend's family. This card is for them. I am so excited to have Betty show me around SLC!

This card is loaded with layers!! It begins on the bottom with strips of lace from Martha Stewart punches, and builds up with Punch Around the Edge designs, also from Martha. Next come gorgeous flower petals that have been embossed with the Cuttlebug, and color added with Memento ink. In the center of the big flowers are the showpieces of Cuttlebug Quilling Flowers! Have you tried them yet??? So easy, and so pretty!
Supplies for this card:

Cuttlebug
Cuttlebug Quilling Kit
Sizzix XL Flower Folds
Daisy Pattern Cuttlebug folder
Martha Stewart punches: String Lace and Garden Trellis
Marco's Paper
Momento Inks: Rich Cocoa, Lady Bug, Danube Blue
Pink Stamper sentiment
Lace and bling are from the Dollar Store

I just love using The Cuttlebug Quilling Kits.

The rest of the design team will have a lot of other cards to share over at Cuttlebug Challenge and I hope you will check it out, too.
Thanks for viewing my Blog.

Cuttin Up 102 Whoopsi Daisy

I fell in LOVE with this cute little Angel image from Whoopsi Daisy Digital images.
My inspiration for this design came from my love of Angels. This darling Angel looks so peaceful holding the precious little lamb.

I colored her with Copic Markers, and highlighted her gown and wings with Smooch inks and Stickles.
The background frame is cut from the Sentimentals Cricut Cartridge. I used Core'dinations Paper, and I used Lulu Lavender and Sweet Plum inks from Memento, to ink the edges of the layers.

The ribbon is from Offray and the Buttons are from my stash.

Thanks for viewing From MY Heart.

Cuttin' Up Happy Birthday

I designed this card for Cuttin' Up on Cuttlebug Challenge.

This Happy Birthday card was made using Elegant Cakes cartridge, Prima and Marco's Paper, Offray ribbon and pearl heart ribbon sliders.
Happy Birthday, Cuttlebug! I didn't have anyone special to create a card for right now, but it will be great to have a nice card in my stash ready for the next birthday that comes along! I have used the Cricut Elegant Cakes cartridge to cut both the border and the Happy Birthday phrase. It's easy to create beautiful cards with these gorgeous borders! These ribbon sliders are unique and very much fun to use. They are from Wild Orchid out of the UK. The hole is already cut in the border, making it so easy to run the ribbon from underneath, through the slider, and back through the border, creating this gorgous layered effect. I hope you will give it a try!

Be Inspired #99 Pink Stamper

This weeks sponsor is The Pink Stamper.

I was given The Friends and Family stamps to use on this Cuttlebug Challenge.

This design is a Gift Card Holder that I made for my Daughter's boyfriends birthday using papers from DCWV and Core'dinations, ribbon from Offray, and Momento ink.

I used the French Manor cartridge from Provo Craft to make the medallion.

I am very pleased with the quality of The Pink Stamper stamps. They produced a very crisp and clear image.

Check back next week for more Birthday Ideas.
