I cut the shade using Provo Crafts Cupcake Wrappers cartridge. It is also lined with vellum. I glued small pearls and added the gold edging . Inside is a battery operated candle.
This cute design was made using clear acetate and the same 5 x 7 Cuttlebug folder as above.
The gold butterflies are from Stampendous. They are placed on vellum and then colored in with Bic markers. I like to give them dimension by layering them. The top layer has clear acetate under the sticker and a gem on top.
Thanks again for visiting my blog. Make sure you stop by next week to see my designs.
From My Heart,
Kristi
Kristi, SO cute! That little lamp shade looks so delicate! I am so excited to be a member of the Cuttlebug Challenges and I hope this gives us more exposure! :) I've posted my bubblegum machine on SplitCoastStampers (my first time there), Facebook, and Cricut Messageboards. DO you think I should do more? I don't want to be a slacking teammate! :) I hope you have a beautiful day!
ReplyDeleteWOW WOW WOW! These are adorable and super terrific :)
ReplyDeleteKristie, I love your projects!!..Your 'candle' holder is adorable!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat projects! I think this little lampshade is the most delightful delicacy! I am excited about how easy it is to cut acrylic with the Cricut. Great job, Girlfriend! So happy to have you on the Cuttlebug Design Team!
ReplyDeleteLovely projects. I don't know why I always tend to forget to use vellum. I've never tried the acetate, but I would like to. You may have inspired me to give it a try. LOVE the butterflies. Hugs, dj
